Sanding Polishing Jarrah Floorboards

Our client reached out to us to restore their 50m² old Jarrah floor hallway, requesting a sanding and polishing service with a high-gloss finish. Over time, the floor had developed scratches, dull patches, and general wear that took away from its natural beauty. They wanted to bring back the rich, deep tones of the Jarrah timber while adding a sleek, polished look to enhance the space.

The process took three days, beginning with a thorough sanding to remove surface imperfections, old coatings, and any unevenness in the timber. This step is essential in preparing the floor for a flawless finish. We then filled any gaps or nail holes to ensure a smooth and seamless result before buffing the surface to enhance the wood’s natural grain.

Once the preparation was complete, we applied multiple coats of a high-gloss polish to achieve a striking, reflective finish. The gloss not only highlights the stunning character of the Jarrah wood but also provides a durable protective layer, making it resistant to daily wear and easier to maintain.
