Transforming Laundry Spaces with Dark-Stained Timber Floors in Fremantle

Description: Recently in Fremantle, we were approached by a homeowner who wanted to completely refresh the look of their 58m² laundry floor. Their vision was clear: a deeper, richer, more dramatic finish. To achieve this, we recommended taking their existing timber floor back to bare timber and applying a dark stain—specifically Black Japan—to create a stunning, modern result.

The project began with three full days of detailed timber floor sand and stain preparation. This included thorough sanding, careful gap filling and smoothing the entire surface to ensure the floorboards were ready for the staining process.
